Serpil is a technology and intellectual property law specialist, approaching her work with determination and empathy while maintaining a social and energetic manner with her team and clients. Serpil approaches her client representations in a lateral and innovative manner, with a focus on solving complex problems.

Serpil has extensive expertise in technology, intellectual property, privacy and general commercial law. She has a passion for drafting, negotiating and implementing Software as a Service (SaaS) Agreements, Master Service Agreements and Service Level Agreements.

Having acted for both supplier and customer, Serpil is well versed in all aspects of contract drafting and negotiation and is able to effectively manage a variety of stakeholder interests. She is hard working, personable and has a positive attitude making her a valued member of the technology team.

Prior to joining Hamilton Locke Serpil worked for DWF and Macpherson Kelley.

  • Advising a peak medical body in Australia on the regulatory and legal requirements of health practitioners in Australia and drafting a submission to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) regarding the implementation of the relevant legislation.
  • Advising an emerging technology company in the process of setting up their global operations by reviewing and negotiating a large volume of commercial documents.
